Completely new design, 2-door fiberglass coupe body. Flip front that locks with chrome locking handles. Diagonal, dual-circuit braking system. Parking brake acts on the rear wheels. Disc brakes on the front wheels. Four-bolt rims. Three cyl. of 60 hp MC850 separately lubricated, two-stroke engine. Exhaust. Solex 40 DHW. Steering wheel gear lever Dashboard in mahogany plywood. Roll bar behind the seats. Seats in fiberglass reinforced plastic.

Heavy ”bump” to accommodate the new engine. Emblem with Sonett V4 on the ”bump”. 4 1/2″ rims. V4 engine with modified air filter and harder valve springs compared to the standard V4. Modified final drive. Dual exhaust pipes.

Larger, 1.7 liter engine with modified crankshaft. Larger muffler. Air conditioning, ”CoolAir” as an extra accessory. Horn button moved to the steering wheel. Crash bars in the doors.

New grill, black rear trunk. New 4 1/2″ aluminum rims corresponding to the “EMS” rims painted silver gray. Several cars remained on the Swedish market.

Large, impact-resistant bumpers that can withstand 8 km/h without permanent deformation are introduced during the model year. Stripes. Black wiper arms. Tailgate equipped with struts and drain.
